David Wallmann
Brief introduction
My name is David Wallmann, I am 28 years old, and I am a passionate trail runner.
Why did you choose this sport?
Through my closeness to nature, I have found my passion in endurance sports. That's why I love trail running in summer and ski mountaineering in winter. I spend as much time as possible in the mountains, which immediately become my playground. What makes trail running and ski mountaineering especially exciting for me is that you can work out and recharge your batteries at the same time.
Since when do you do this sport? Since when professional?
Thanks to good performances, I was given the unique opportunity to join the Salomon Trail-Running Team.
What achievements have you been able to celebrate this season?
This season, I was able to finish on the podium every time I competed or was consistently the best Austrian.
What were the biggest challenges this year?
The biggest challenge for me this past season was certainly getting back on track after breaking two fingers in a relatively complicated way. But I've been able to take something positive out of all the setbacks so far.
Preview for next year, what's next?
Another passion of mine is cooking. I prefer to do this together with my friend Kerstin. The nice thing is that we not only spend a lot of time together at the stove but also in nature. We both pay attention to a healthy diet, and that of course starts with breakfast. I have nothing concrete planned for next year; the most important thing is to stay healthy and have fun!
Favorite Verival product
So for breakfast, I prefer to mix the Nut Urkorn Muesli with the Coconut Marille Muesli ! The mixing ratio is about 2:1. If possible, I don't use regular milk but a coconut drink, because lactose often causes me problems during exercise.
During the day as a snack, I like to have a "packerl" of nuts with me – here the energy boost is my absolute favorite.

Lukas Knapp
Brief introduction
My name is Lukas Knapp, I am 22 years old and I am a competitive climber in the discipline of speed.
Why did you choose this sport?
I have tried many different sports, but none have captivated me as much as climbing, because it is simply so multifaceted and diverse. Every route is different, there are endless types of movements, and you can do it almost anywhere.
Since when do you do this sport? Since when professional?
I only started climbing when I was 12 years old, but I took part in my first competitions at a regional level at the age of 13. Since I was 18, I have been in the adult squad of the national team.
What achievements have you been able to celebrate this season?
My biggest success this year is certainly 13th place at the European Championship in Edinburgh. At major events, of course, the pressure is correspondingly higher, and that's why I was all the more relieved to be able to move into the final of the top 16 and have a good time climbing here.
What were the biggest challenges this year?
During the long season, it was not always easy to maintain form, as there is often little time between competitions. In addition, it was sometimes difficult to concentrate fully on training when there were stressful situations in my private life, but fortunately, I learned to deal with it better through this experience.
Preview for next year, what's next?
Next year will start with the European Championship in Moscow at the end of March, followed by the World Cup season with competitions in China, South Korea, the USA, Switzerland, and France. My goal is to compete in the entire World Cup season for the first time and achieve top rankings here. Furthermore, I will participate in several international master events in China and the UniWM in Italy.

Matthias Hohlrieder
Brief introduction
Matthias Hohlrieder, 25 years old, triathlete.
Why did you choose this sport?
I've always been a very versatile athlete, and that's where triathlon came in handy. In my youth, I was interested in all kinds of sports, besides triathlon, among others, ski touring, competitive trampolining, ski racing, and of course swimming, cycling, and running.
Since when do you do this sport? Since when professional?
I have been doing triathlon since I was 9 years old. I find it difficult to pinpoint the exact time I've been engaging in it professionally. At the age of 15, I started with structured training, and since 2017 I would say I run triathlon
